Midnight & Holly

Here are Holly & Midnight looking gorgeous together! Midnight has passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Congratulations, Midnight!

Anna/Liza

Liza continues to bring laughter and love to our home. She is growing like a weed. I adjusted the divider in her crate and had to do it again within a week! She has one more socialization class and then we will move on to obedience. We already have training time each day, which she really enjoys. She knows sit, stay, down, roll over, "high five" and "show me your belly!" Yesterday we started working on "drop it."

Gabe/Bentley

Gabe/Bentley at 15 months - what a handsome chap! His family says he's doing well and keeps his schnauzer physique by playing fetch and chasing bunnies. He loves to snuggle on the couch as well. His family says they are often complimented on his good looks and good behavior.

Bentley's family says he's a joy and very well-adjusted.

Mary/Bella

Jo

Jo (at right) is doing very well his family says.

Jo, at right, got to meet his big sister, Liza/Chloe, (from another litter). Jo's family said his first week at home went well - he settled in nicely and loves his toys. He met some Bichons of a family member and played all day with them.

Jo curled up with a toy. His family says his vet visit went well, and they love his personality!

Oliver

Oliver went home to his big brother Star/Lindy from a previous litter. Oliver's family says he a smart little guy. They've been taking him on all kinds of adventures, and he likes to follow them around. He's been sitting for treats since the day he came home. They say they absolutely love him.

Angel

Angel celebrating one year old with a new toy! Her family says she is such a sweetheart and loves her them so much! She loves playing with her toys when she’s not snuggling with them.

Chloe Faith (formerly known as Liza) has enchanted many people in our travels. She loves everyone she meets. I am constantly told what a beautiful mini schnauzer she is! We continue to socialize her but you've given her such a spectacular start in life, not only with the socialization, but the crate training, and potty training. She has slept quietly in her crate from the first night we brought her home. Potty training has been going well with her also, even with the challenge of the cold and wind!

Here's Liza/Chloe at 12lbs at months old. We've been continuing the socialization and she's been lucky to have some unique experiences. We live aboard our motor yacht, and she loves marina life! Lots of people, sights, sounds, shorebirds, even navigating the dock and ramps-nothing phases this puppy!

Gloria/Gracie

Gracie's family says she's fantastic - playful, cuddly, and spunky! She has met many dogs, children, and adults and loves them all. At her first puppy class, she was curious, playful, and well-behaved. Her family says she's perfect, and they love her!

Toby sacked out on his back. His family says, "He is so loving, follows us everywhere, learning the stairs and is so so friendly with all the dogs he meets. We absolutely love having him be part of our family."

Zeke/Oscar's family says he's doing well. They say he's sweet and smart (sounds like a schnauzer to me)! He is very inquisitive and bold with all the new humans he is meeting.

Ivy at a few months old! Her family said she's best friends with their other schnauzer, Bliss (also a Russell Homestead schnauzer). Good girl, Ivy!

Annie/Harper

Harper enjoying her first Christmas! Her family says has started her puppy classes, and she's very smart. She has lots of energy and loves to play.

Shadow/Gabriel

Gabe doing fabulous at 5 months old. He has passed puppy kindergarten and graduated to puppy manners. His family says he's wonderful!

Gabe is doing great; here he is at 3 months old and 10lbs! He loves to eat his Life's Abundance food.

Clarabelle/Olive

Here's Olive snuggling up with her mom. Her family says she's doing well and they are grateful the wonderful start she had here at Russell Homestead. They said she's a "show stopper" on walks; everyone wants to pet her and she wants to be petted.

Rex/Rudi

Rudi's family says he loves kids and other dogs, especially his sister (shown in photo). Good boy, Rudi!

Rudi with his best friend! Rudi's family says he very affectionate, playful, cuddly lap dog. They say he loves them and is highly sociable with the dogs that come down to visit them on their cul de sac. He learns quickly, and he loves the shower! Rudi is a well-loved member of the family!

Everest/Maggie is doing great! Her family says she's a real sweetie and very loving. She is doing well with going potty outside. Good girl, Maggie!

Ivan/Romeo

Ivan/Romeo looking all handsome at his new home! His family says he is doing great. He is very curious and loves attention. They said they love him dearly already!

JD/Tucker

Tucker after his first haircut at 4 months old. His family loves his dearly despite some mischievous exploits involving toilet paper rolls, trash cans, and hampers. He's very sweet and adventurous. At 5 months, he's 14lbs, and his vet estimates he could top 20lbs.

Tucker settling in in his new home. His family says he's a sweet, curious guy. He has been doing well with going potty outside. He did a little crying in his crate the first night, but overall did fine.

Here's Dash looking handsome at 7 months old. His family says they just adore him and he’s such a blessing. He’s smart and snuggly and incredibly tolerant and loves to play soccer. He’s the kids’ best playmate and a great companion for working at home. He is such a joy.

Dash's family says he's a pure joy! They said he's settling in well to his new home and his first vet visit went well.

At left, is Hope (Jolly's daughter) and at right is Mary/Holly (Tachi's daughter). Don't they look gorgeous together? We are so happy that they are together. Their family says Holly is keeping Hope young. They love each other and play constantly. Good girls!

Mary/Holly with her 2 new big sisters. Her canine sister Hope was the first puppy ever born at Russell Homestead. Hope and Holly get along great, and Holly wants to be everywhere Hope is. Holly's family also says that she is very comfortable with children!

King/Teddy

Teddy at one year old! He is 28lbs. His family says he has a nice temperament. At 10 months, they could leave him unattended in the house without even a pillow overturned. Good boy, Teddy!

King/Teddy's family says he's doing well. He's taking training classes and knows several commands already. They said he slept through the night in his crate from day 1 (a common report from his litter; yay!). He's very friendly with people and other dogs.

Liberty/Lacy

Boaz/Moose

Moose/Boaz weighs in a 25lbs at 2.5 years old. His family says he is doing great. Everyday, Moose enjoys 2 long walks. He loves playing fetch, snuggling, and chasing squirrels. Overall, he is very affectionate. Good boy, Moose!

8 months old and handsome as ever!

Moose at 1 year old and 22lbs! His family says he is very smart, trainable, and expressive. One of his favorite past times is chasing squirrels. He is a very sweet dog and gentle with his family's toddler niece. Yay - good boy, Moose!

At 6 months, Boaz/Moose weighs in at 18lbs! His family says he has lots of energy but enjoys snuggling after running around in the yard or going to doggy daycare.

Sasha/Missy

Sasha at 4 years old! Her family says, "She's just as sweet as ever, loves people, walks, her toys (17 at last count and knows their names). She is fascinated by running water whether coming out of the spigot or going down the drain. Can't figure were it goes... When first clipped she is very light and then as her coat grows it darkens again, a little brown in her beard. Naps in afternoon, alive at night for her time to play, and, of course a nighttime treat before bed. In the yard she chases birds and squirrels, but when we walk, every morning about 2 miles, she stays right beside me. Sometimes, afternoon or evening walks too. Her disposition is sweet and everyone makes a fuss over her and there's a greyhound that's her best friend."

She throws her ball down the steps, runs and brings it back and tosses it down again. She loves to walk, and we take long ones daily. She is very important to me!"
