Puppies - Week 2

The puppies continue to grow & thrive.  Everyone's eyes are open now, and they are beginning to try to walk around their whelping box.  It is more like an army crawl at this point, but that will soon change!  They are all around 2 pounds.  This litter is very uniform in size, unlike our litter of 8 puppies in 2015 where some puppies were half the size of their litter mates at birth.
I update the puppies' individual pages every week with new pictures - go to our current litter page and click on their photos to see their individual pages (or simply click their pictures below).
Below, are the best of this week's photos.
Below, I thought you may enjoy some pictures of the assistance I receive during puppy photo shoots.

They do change SO much at this age! It only becomes more fun from here on out as we can begin to play with them.

Now I know why Sadie is so good with kids - because they are introduced to them from an early age:)

I believe it makes a difference to have them exposed at an early age; not just to children, but to normal household sounds and smells. We love to hear that our puppies like kids because we do hope that their early socialization results in a life long love of people - big & little :)

As I said before, Sadie is my fourth Mini Schnauzer and none of the past three had the loving and easy personality that Sadie does. She gets along great with everyone.
